Some Background Information On Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada is a South African cricket player. In November 2014, he played his first match for South Africa in a one-day international (ODI). In November 2015, he played his first Test match for South Africa. At the start of 2018, Rabada was already known as one of the best bowlers in the world for both one-day internationals and tests. He also made a big difference on the international cricket scene. At age 23, he set a new record by becoming the youngest bowler to take 150 wickets in test matches. In August 2018, the magazine “Wisden” said that he was the best young player in the world. At the annual dinner put on by Cricket South Africa, Kagiso Rabada was given several awards. “ODI Cricketer of the Year,” “Test Cricketer,” and “Cricketer of the Year” were some of the awards.   • How kid grew up and the first few years –

Kagiso Rabada was born to Mpho and Florence Rabada on May 25, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Johannesburg is in the province of Gauteng. He went to the Methodist Parochial School for Boys at St. Stithians for his education.

According to latest cricketing news, he was chosen to play first-class cricket in the CSA Provincial One-Day Competition between Gauteng and Border in December 2013. The two provinces were in a race against each other. He was chosen to play for his country in the 2014 “ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup” because of how well he did at the “first-class” level. This happened in the year 2014.

South Africa won the 2014 “Under-19 Cricket World Cup” thanks in large part to Rabada’s 14-wicket haul. The event took place in 2014. His 3.10 economy rate was a big reason why South Africa became the first team from Africa to win the tournament. He was called the “fastest and most feared bowler” in the competition because of how fast he was and how well he hit the ball.

After that, Rabada joined a team of cricket players called “The Highveld Lions.” After that, he played first-class cricket for the “Lions” in a tournament called “The Sunfoil Series,” where he took seven wickets in two games.

In February 2015, Kagiso Rabada took a record 14 wickets for the “Lions” in a game against “The Hollywoodbets Dolphins.” This was after he had done so well at the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.   • Victory on the world’s stage –

On November 5, 2014, Kagiso Rabada played in his first Twenty20 International match, which was against Australia. On July 10, 2015, he played his first Day International match against Bangladesh. Bangladesh was the team playing. Rabada is only the second player in the history of One-Day Internationals to do this on his first game.

He played in his first Test match on November 5, 2015, which was against India. So, he was chosen to represent his country on the trip to England in 2015–2016. In the fourth test match against England, Rabada became the youngest South African bowler to ever take ten or more wickets in a single match. He took 13 wickets altogether. A big part of his team’s good performance in England can be credited to what he did.

During South Africa’s tour of England in 2017, Rabada and Ben Stokes got into a fight after Rabada got Stokes out on the first day of the first Test match at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Lord’s Cricket Ground was the site of the game. When it was found that Rabada had used “inappropriate language,” he was punished by not being allowed to play in the second Test.

Rabada became the best one-day bowler in the world after he took four wickets in the third one-day international match of South Africa’s tour of England in 2017.

In addition to this, he became the youngest player to top the “ICC ODI bowling rankings” since Saqlain Mushtaq in 1998. He did this by coming in first place in the rankings. After getting five wickets in the first test match of 2018, which was against India, he was quickly named the best bowler in the world for Tests.

He had 11 wickets at the end of the second test of 2018, which was played against Australia. As a result of his efforts, Vernon Philander, and Dale Steyn as only the fourth South African bowler in the history of the ICC Test bowling rankings to reach the 900 mark.

In July 2018, he set a new record by becoming the youngest bowler to take 150 wickets in a Test match. He also became the third South African to get 150 test wickets for his country in the third fastest time. In March 2019, he played a one-day international against Sri Lanka. It was during that game that he took his 100th wicket overall. In April of this year, it was said that he would represent South Africa at the 2019 “Cricket World Cup.

Rabada won “man of the match” and “man of the series” awards “on several different occasions. Several awards and honors were given to him at the Cricket South Africa banquet that took place every year.
